This is a small, one-person shop — this page covers exactly what this site actually does, in plain language, not boilerplate copied from a bigger company.
What this site collects
Site analytics
Page views are counted with GoatCounter, a privacy-focused analytics tool that doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other sites. It's proxied through thebluerings.com/count rather than calling goatcounter.com directly, so your browser never talks to a third-party analytics domain at all. The data collected is aggregate (which pages are popular, roughly where visitors come from) — nothing that identifies you individually.
Checkout & payment
Buying a deck takes you to a checkout page hosted by Stripe, our payment processor — this site never sees or stores your card number. Stripe collects your name, shipping address, email, and payment details directly, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy. We receive your order details (name, address, what you bought) from Stripe so we can pack and ship it.
If you email blueringsllc@gmail.com — a question, a return request, anything — that's a normal email, kept in that inbox like any other message you send someone. We don't add you to a mailing list from it.
Google Shopping
Product details (name, price, availability) are shared with Google so the deck can show up in Google Shopping results — standard for any store listed there. That's product information only: no customer or order information is sent to Google.
Cookies
This site's own pages don't set tracking cookies. The one place cookies can come from is Stripe's checkout page (on stripe.com, not this domain), which is controlled by your browser's normal cookie settings — blocking or clearing cookies for that domain won't affect anything else on this site.
Occasional updates
We might email people who've bought a deck, or who've asked to be kept posted, about something genuinely new — a new variant, that kind of thing. No more than once a year, and there's no mailing-list software behind it yet — just reply and ask to be left off, and we will be.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don't run retargeting ads or share your data with an ad network.
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If what's collected here ever changes, this page will be updated and the date above will change with it.
